Promoting Cricket in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Cowboyz Cricket Club is a Tulsa, Oklahoma registered sports club with a mission to promote the game of cricket in Tulsa by involving both novice and experienced members in practice and match situations.
We participate in the Two-State Cricket League every year, competing in both T35 overs and T20 formats. Our matches take us across different cities including Oklahoma City, Wichita (Kansas), and Tulsa (Oklahoma). Our home ground is located at Terwilliger Park, 5902 W 10th St, Tulsa, OK 74127.
We welcome everyone from the Tulsa community! Whether you're a local resident, a student, or new to the area, our club is open to all cricket enthusiasts. We especially encourage Tulsa locals and students from universities across the Tulsa area to join us. Students from Oklahoma State University and other local institutions participate every year, bringing fresh energy and talent to our team.
All achievements in T35 overs format:
Special mention to our players from Bentonville, Arkansas, who participate in our league. Arshdeep Brar, who has captained teams in Chandigarh, India and played in the Karnataka Premier League at a very high level, is now playing for our team. He coaches other players in batting, bowling, and fielding. Jindhu Brar coaches players on six-hitting skills.
It's a great opportunity to learn from premier players who support our club in every way.
Weekly once we also practice at Terwilliger ground and practice coordinator is Lakshmi Narayanan. He is a bowling all-rounder and helps the club in all possible ways before and after the game with admin work, ordering food, and more.
Without his help, conducting home or away games would not run as smoothly. His dedication ensures everything is organized both on and off the field.
Special mention to Dhananjay Dhane, who has been a huge pillar of support for the club. As Vice President and an all-rounder, he helps with managing the club and players, contributing both on and off the field.
We have dedicated players who have been with the club since 2012 when we started, demonstrating their commitment to the sport. Senior players like Surya, Swapnil Sankaye, Palgunan Kalyanamraman, Niranjan Reddy, Pradeep, Shieraam, Zaid Sheikh, and Gaurav Desai have been supporting the club for a long time, forming the backbone of our team.
Many players on our team travel from different cities, which is only possible because of the passion we have for this game and the unity it brings us. Cricket doesn't just bring us together—it builds lasting friendships and a strong community.
